Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about how we work, what we make, or how traceability fits into your supply chain? You're in the right place. Below you'll find answers to the questions we hear most often — from procurement teams, ESG professionals, and brand managers exploring what verified sustainable packaging actually looks like in practice.

About Recycle&Go

What does Recycle&Go do?

We transform post-consumer plastic waste into traceable, reusable branded products — including shopping bags, tote bags, and retail packaging. Every product we make is GRS-certified and comes with a Digital Product Passport that documents the full journey from waste collection to finished product.

Where are you based?

We are headquartered in Dubai, UAE, and work with global brands across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Who do you work with?

We work with procurement teams, ESG and sustainability professionals, and brand managers at global retail and consumer brands. Our clients include Victoria's Secret, Boots Pharmacy, Pottery Barn, and Williams Sonoma.

Materials & Products

What materials do you use?

We specialise in recycled polypropylene (rPP) and recycled PET (rPET) — both sourced from post-consumer plastic waste. Our materials are independently certified and audited for recycled content.

What is the difference between rPP and rPET?

rPET is made primarily from recycled plastic bottles, while rPP is made from post-consumer polypropylene waste such as packaging and containers. Both are high-quality recycled materials. rPP is particularly well-suited to reusable shopping bags and retail packaging due to its durability, strength, and print quality.

How much recycled content is in your products?

This varies by product, but we are fully transparent about the exact recycled content percentage in every item we produce. All claims are independently audited and documented.

Can I see a sample before placing an order?

Yes. Contact us or book a demo and we'll walk you through our product range and arrange samples relevant to your brief.

Certification & Traceability

What is GRS certification?

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is the leading international certification for recycled content in products and supply chains. It requires third-party auditing and chain-of-custody documentation, ensuring that recycled content claims are independently verified — not just self-reported.

Are your products GRS certified?

Yes. Our products and supply chain are GRS-certified and independently audited by internationally accredited certification bodies.

What is a Digital Product Passport (DPP)?

A Digital Product Passport is a scannable QR code embedded in or attached to a product that links to a verified record of that product's full supply chain journey — from waste collection and material processing through to manufacturing and delivery. Anyone with a smartphone can scan it and see exactly where the product came from and how it was made.

Why does traceability matter?

Regulators in the EU, UK, and beyond are tightening rules around sustainability claims. Brands that cannot substantiate their claims face increasing legal and reputational risk. A Digital Product Passport gives your ESG team audit-ready documentation and gives your customers genuine transparency — not just a promise.

Can I use your traceability data in my ESG reports?

Yes. We provide documentation and data that is designed to support ESG reporting, sustainability audits, and regulatory compliance.

Working With Us

What is your minimum order quantity?

Minimum order quantities vary depending on the product and specification. Get in touch and we'll discuss what works for your project.

How long does production take?

Lead times depend on order volume, product complexity, and current capacity. We'll give you a clear timeline as part of your project brief.

Can you produce custom branded products?

Yes. Custom branding, colours, sizes, and finishes are all available. Our team will work with you to develop a product that meets your brand guidelines and sustainability requirements

Do you offer consumer-facing Digital Product Passports as part of the product?

Yes. We can build branded consumer landing pages linked to the DPP — turning every product scan into a brand touchpoint that connects your customer to your sustainability story.

How do I get started?

The easiest way is to start a conversation or book a demo. We'll learn about your project, share relevant case studies, and outline what a partnership could look like.

Sustainability & Impact

How do you ensure your sustainability claims are accurate?

Every claim we make is independently audited. We don't self-certify. Our GRS certification, recycled content percentages, and chain-of-custody records are all verified by third-party accredited bodies.

What happens to your products at end of life?

Our products are designed for repeated reuse. At end of life, both rPP and rPET materials are recyclable, supporting a circular model rather than a linear one.

How is Recycle&Go different from other sustainable packaging suppliers?

Most suppliers will give you a certificate. We give you proof. Our Digital Product Passport embeds verifiable traceability into every product — so your sustainability claim isn't just a marketing statement, it's a documented, scannable fact.
